Cryogenic cleaning: high-performance and speed

Cleaning is often a long and tedious job, but it is essential for maintaining the plants that we operate. Recently, after noticing a problem with the calibration of the coil heads, it was imperative that we clean the machine thoroughly before starting the repairs to avoid any deposits building up in the resins we were going to use for the recalibration. Our winder specialists were able to do this quickly using our Dry ice blasting equipment, which meant the team in place was able to proceed with the repairs immediately. The final electrical diagnostic testing of the machine (DiamHEX) carried out by our engineers revealed that it was in good operational repair for several more years

Cryogenic cleaning facilitates the expeditious targeted cleaning of electrical machines. We use it regularly when working on alternators or MV motors. The time saved reduces downtime, which is a huge advantage as we experience a shortage in electricity.
